FAQ
Is there a heavy pole in the base of the blind to keep it down or in position when down?

Yes - there is a steel pole in the base of the blind, BUT the purpose of the base pole is to assist the blind to roll up neatly and effectively into a round "sausage" shape.

We install a securing system into the corners of the patio or lapa openings (which is out of the way from been kicked or tripping over), and the client will fasten the LHS and RHS of the blind when it is rolled down. This keeps the blind in place and prevents it from blowing around in the wind and / or bumping into furniture or people.

Why Velcro and not zips or eyelets instead?

We use an industrial zip in our doorways only - it provides the client with the convenience of opening the doorway from either side of the blind. The zip is also never removed from the doorway and therefore NEVER has to be re-aligned again when trying to close the door.

We use Velcro on the blinds and panels as it is user friendly, U.V. stabilized, attaches quickly and effectively, and NEVER rusts or breaks off, as in eyelets.

How are the sides of the blinds closed off to prevent rain, wind and the cold from getting in?

We use U.V. stabilized Velcro (5cm in width) on both the blinds and the panels (which are custom made), to join blinds to walls, poles or one another.

What is the guarantee on the product?

There is a 24 month warranty on the product, installation and workmanship of the product.

How are the panels put together?

A process known as: "HIGH FREQUENCY WELDING" is used, thus creating a continuous, re-inforced, waterproof seam.

Is the product U.V. treated or stabilized?

Yes, both the coloured re-inforced section as well as the clear window section are U.V. stabilized, thus offering a longer life expectancy.

Why is the product so strong?

The interwoven base cloth gives the product the flexibility, strength and durability needed to compete with the natural elements.

Is the product waterproof?

100% waterproof - in fact, you can wash the blinds directly with a garden hose pipe.

I must compliment you on the exemplary and impeccable customer service that was afforded us througout the transaction. The entire process from initiation through to the quotation, through the questions and responses, through to the ontime delivery as well as the installation activity were all a gratifying experience and I wish you and the company every success in the future. John Ireland
